Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands Cibola, New Mexico Mount Taylor Ranger District

Thinning and prescribed burning to reduce tree density and re-establish pinyon-juniper and mixed pinyon-juniper/Ponderosa pine savannas and woodlands. Cut material will be available for forest products, primarily fuelwood.

La Jara Mesa, on Mt. Taylor, west of Buckhorn Spring, north of FR93, east of Cerro Colorado, south of El Rito Canyon
