Proposal to repair seven playa basins by filling in pits which were dug in the 1970%u2019s. The piles of soil which remain from the original pitting will be placed back in each borrow pit using a bulldozer.
Location
Six of the playa lakes are located from 5-18 miles north and east of Roy, NM. One of the playa lakes is located about 8 miles northeast of Clayton, NM.
