Canadian River Crossing Aquatic Organism Passage

Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands Harding; Mora, New Mexico Kiowa and Rita Blanca National Grasslands

The project objectives are to develop a low-water crossing which allows full passage of aquatic organisms and preserves vehicular access to the public land across the Canadian river as well as maintaining a pool habitat upstream.

Location

The project area is located about 9 miles northwest of Roy, New Mexico in Mills Canyon at the FR-600 crossing on the Canadian River.
