Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands Lincoln, New Mexico Mountainair Ranger District

This project will restore the forest ecosystem and reduce fuel loadings on the Gallinas Unit of the Mountainair District. The treatments are needed to reduce the potential of uncharacteristic wildfires to protect the Community of Corona.

Location

Project are is in the southern portion of the Gallinas Unit of the Mountainair Ranger District in Lincoln County, New Mexico, near the Village of Corona.
