Use hand tools and heavy equipment to implement low-tech restoration techniques (Zuni bowl, one-rock grade control structures, plantings) to stabilize 0.7 mile of ephemeral stream channel, floodplain, wet meadow, and Forest Road 226. Replace a spring box, and fell 20 ponderosa pine for log sills.

Adjacent to NFSR 226 in T11S, R10W, Section 14, in Seventyfour Draw, Hoyt 6th code watershed on the Black Range Ranger District, near Turkey Spring in Sierra County, New Mexico.
