The Gila National Forest proposes to reconstruct and upgrade the Forks Campground, which includes constructing a sustainable trail for river access on the north and south end of the project area, naturalize existing social trails, and constructing primitive tent sites.
Location
Forks Campground is located approximately 38 miles north of Silver City, NM and less than 10 miles from the Cliff Dwellings National Monument.
