Rowe Grade Road Improvement Project

Gila National Forest Catron, New Mexico Glenwood Ranger District

Catron County proposes to realign and reconstruct 2.0 miles of Rowe Grade Road across NFS lands on the Gila National Forest. The project would widen the road to two 11-foot-wide lanes, including two concrete low water crossings, seventeen 24” culverts with riprap runout pads, and ditch improvements.

Location

T1S, R20W, Sections 12, 13, and 23. The project is located approximately 1 mile northeast of Glenwood, New Mexico, on Catron County Road C006 (Rowe Grade Road), which connects between NM Highway 174 (Catwalk Access Road) to NM Highway 159 (Bursum Road).
