Widening and elevating approximately 150 feet of roadway and providing for road drainage along the Cooney Road (Forest Road 150A). The project is needed for public safety, for safe ingress/egress by private, public, and emergency vehicles.

The project is located in the Upper Mimbres River watershed, adjacent to Mimbres River, on the Wilderness Ranger District of the Gila National Forest, Grant County, New Mexico.
