The Bureau of Land Management’s Roswell Field Office applied for a Free Use Permit in the Devils Canyon mineral material pit. The permit would be for the removal of up to 5,000 loose cubic yards (LCY) of gravel per year. The permit will expire 10 years from the date of issuance.

Devils Canyon about 2 miles southeast of the Sierra Blanca Airport.
