Porcupine Creek Vegetation Treatment

Bridger-Teton National Forest Lincoln, Wyoming Kemmerer Ranger District

The forest, collaborating with BLM and WGFD, proposes to broadcast burn approx. 1400 acres to reduce conifer overstory and promote Aspen suckering. Desired vegetation conditions include reduced fuel loading and improved desirable wildlife habitat.

Location

East of the Dry Fork of Smiths Fork River and west of Hobble Creek Campground, near Cokeville, Wyoming.
