Jordan Canyon Hazardous Fuels Reduction Project

Caribou-Targhee National Forest Lincoln, Wyoming Palisades Ranger District

The proposal is to treat up to 483 acres within the project area. Treatments proposed to reduce hazardous fuels include commercial timber sale, non-commercial thinning treatments, and prescribed fire with hand/aerial ignition (broadcast and piles).

Location

The project area is located north of Alpine, Wyoming and includes Long Spring Canyon and Jordan Canyon on the Palisades Ranger District in Lincoln County, Wyoming.
