This project will reduce the buildup of hazardous fuels adjacent to the foothill communities of Sunland and Tujunga providing increased defensible space within the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) areas.
Location
Sunland is located approximately 26 miles from Los Angeles and sits at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains north of the 210 freeway, along forest road 2N86
