The primary focus of the project is to reduce the risk of ignition along the State Highway System. Project is approximately 37.65 discontinuous acres between approximately postmile (PM) 35 and PM 48. FANEC was signed on 04/13/2026. Data was lost in ELMS after signature and had to be recreated.
Location
The I-8 WABs encompass approximately 37.75 acres within 17 discontinuous linear miles and are comprised of numerous discrete roadside areas that extend approximately 30 feet from the edge of pavement along the shoulders of both the eastbound and westbound travel lanes, as well as portions of the center median, between approximately postmile (PM) 34 and PM 51.
