Windler Bar Habitat Enhancement

Klamath National Forest & Butte Valley National Grassland Siskiyou, California Salmon River Ranger District

There is a need to enhance both fisheries and riparian habitat within the Project area, which is known to host rearing and spawning at-risk salmon. The purpose of this project is to address several critical elements of long-term restoration goals for salmon habitat and water quality.

Location

The project is within the North Fork Salmon River watershed, ten and a half miles upstream of the confluence with South Fork of the Salmon River.
