Hog Fire Salvage and Rehabilitation Project

The primary goal of this project is economic recovery of timber value lost from wildfire and mitigating public hazard by removing dead trees along open system roads and trails. The secondary goal is reforestation, within and outside of salvage areas.

Lassen National Forest, Eagle Lake Ranger District. T30N R10E MDBM. Hog Fire perimeter. Approx. 5 miles east of Susanville, between Highway 36 and Highway 44, and extending north of Highway 44
