Mechanical thinning and fuels reduction on approximately 1,252 acres of National Forest System land adjacent to the community of Greene Acres in Sierra County, California.

Location

The Greene Acres Project is located on approximately 1,105 acres of the Yuba River Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest, Sierra County, CA. The area is approximately 2 miles south of Bassetts, adjacent to State Route 49 on the west, and the Greene Acres housing subdivision to the north and east.
