MTH Blowdown Insect and Disease Management

Remove excess buildup of dead and down trees including incidental removal of standing stressed dying trees from areas along National Forest System roads 46, 4640, and 5710 to control insect infestation and spread.

Location

Approximately 240 acres of wind-damaged areas along National Forest System (NFS) roads 46, 4640, and 5710, are proposed for treatment as illustrated on the treatment units maps.
