National Forests in Florida Marion, Florida Seminole Ranger District

The Ocala National Forest (ONF) proposes to complete timber harvesting by thinning to improve forest health, improve groundcover conditions, and reduce hazardous fuels. Connected actions could include roler drum chopping after harvesting.

Location

All activities will occur on the Ocala NF in Lake, Marion, and Putnam counties on the Seminole and Lake George RD.
