George Washington and Jefferson National Forests Smyth, Virginia Mount Rogers National Recreation Area

This project consists of forest management activities over approximately 126 acres. Activities include commercial thinning of timber, non-commercial stand improvement cutting, mechanical brush control, and prescribed burning.

Location

Smyth County, VA, about 1.5 miles east of Sugar Grove, VA, on the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area of the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests.
