This project aims to remove a dense, aging white pine plantation in order to provide a short-term early successional (high stem) habitat for wildlife species, and ultimately restore a mixed oak forest community in its place.
Location
The project area is located just west of State Route 28, approximately four miles south of Seneca State Forest.
