Cube Cove Restoration

Tongass National Forest Juneau, Alaska Admiralty Island National Monument

Following the purchase of 22,890 acres, the District proposes to restore and preserve wilderness character in the Cube Cove portion of the Kootznoowoo Wilderness through re-establishing hydrologic function.

Location

The area is referred to collectively as Cube Cove on the western side of Admiralty Island, extending from Cube Cove (proper) in the north to the Lake Florence watershed.
