The proposed action would conduct vegetation management activities to promote resilience to insects and disease. Treatments would include timber harvest and removal of conifer encroachment from aspen stands.
Location
The project area is located on the east side of the Flint Creek mountain range, approximately 9 miles west-northwest of Deer Lodge, MT and 8 miles south of Gold Creek, MT.
