Marble Creek Splash Dam Fish Passage Project

Idaho Panhandle National Forests Shoshone, Idaho St. Maries Ranger District

The St. Joe Ranger District is partnering with the USFWS, Idaho DEQ, Idaho Dept. of Fish & Game, and Avista Corp to breach two historic splash dams on Marble Creek to increase amount of habitat available for bull trout.

Location

Several miles upstream of the creek's confluence with the St. Joe River within the U.S. Forest Service's Grandmother Mountain Roadless Area.
