Mad Creek Project

Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests & Pawnee National Grassland Clear Creek, Colorado Clear Creek Ranger District

The Forest Service proposes to thin trees from below to reduce hazardous fules in the Mad Creek watershed above the town of Empire and increase the amount of suitable habitat for big horn sheep.

Location

The project area is located 1/2 mile NW of the town of Empire, between Lion Creek and Mad Creek.
