Forsythe Fuels Reduction Project

Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests & Pawnee National Grassland Boulder; Gilpin, Colorado Boulder Ranger District

The US Forest Service signed a decision August 2012 designed to improve forest health and reduce the potential for wildfire near Forsythe Canyon. A Supplemental Information Report was completed October 2014. No new decision is necessary.

Location

The project area is located in the SE corner of the Boulder Ranger District, south and east of State Hwy 119 and west of Gross Reservoir.
