This project proposes planting approx. 68,000 ponderosa pine and Douglas-fir seedlings on 235 acres on severely burned areas in 2022. Seedlings would be monitored for survival over the first and third years after planting.
Location
The BRD Reforestation project area is located within the burn footprints of the Calwood and Lefthand Fires.
