Sulphur Ranger District 2022 Reforestation

Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests & Pawnee National Grassland Grand, Colorado Sulphur Ranger District

Approximately 150,000 lodgepole pine seedlings would be planted across 1,447 acres in 2022. Seedlings would be monitored for survival over the first and third years after planting. Areas of natural regeneration would be avoided for planting.

Location

The SRD Reforestation project area is located within the burn footprints of the East Troublesome and Williams Fork Fires.
