Cameron Peak Fire Point Mitigation Projects to Improve Water Quality

The Forest Service proposes to implement restoration projects at 3 areas impacted by the 2020 Cameron Peak Fire to slow water, trap sediment and debris, and reconnect channels to adjacent floodplains.

Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Canyon Lakes Ranger District in Upper Black Hollow Creek, Elkhorn Creek, and Ratville.
