Pierson Park Fuel Break

Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests & Pawnee National Grassland Larimer, Colorado Canyon Lakes Ranger District

The purpose of this project is to establish and reinforce fuel breaks along roads in high priority areas with high burn probabilities and expected suppression difficulty which is consistent with Forest-wide management goals and objectives.

Location

Treatments will be conducted primarily along Pierson Park Road (FSR 119), Johnny Park Road (FSR 118), and Forest System Road segments to the northeast and southwest of U.S. Highway 36.
