Yankee Hill and Lump Gulch Patchcut Reforestation

Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests & Pawnee National Grassland Boulder; Gilpin, Colorado Boulder Ranger District

Following previously removed patchcuts, we intend on planting a mixed conifer composition to promote resilience to wildfire and climate change. This mixed conifer composition allows for greater biodiversity and heterogeneity within the stands.

Location

South of Nederland, CO. Lump Gulch (Boulder RD; T2S R72W S7) and Yankee Hill (Clear Creek RD; T2S R73W S25) project areas are both located off Highway 119.
