Slater Lake Greenback Broodstock

Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests & Pawnee National Grassland Clear Creek, Colorado Clear Creek Ranger District

The purpose of this project is to establish a broodstock and conservation population of greenback cutthroat trout (Oncorhynchus clarkii stomias) which serves ongoing efforts of the species recovery plan.

Location

Slater Lake is located upstream of Chinns Lakes, and technically Fall River Reservoir, and lies within the James Peak Wilderness at T3S, R74W, Sec. 5 NW1/4
