Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests & Thunder Basin National Grassland Carbon, Wyoming Brush Creek/Hayden Ranger District

The purpose of this project is to improve wildlife habitat and lower fuel loads to reduce fire hazards. There is a need to re-introduce fire through prescribed burns to improve age class distribution.

Location

The project area is approximately 20 miles southwest of Saratoga, Wyoming.
