Installation of a fish passage barrier in Upper S Fork Slater Creek to prevent brook trout from moving into a Colorado Cutthroat Trout population that had been isolated by a natural fall, recent surveys have now found brook trout above the falls.

From Craig, CO, take hwy 13 north approx 13 miles, turn right onto Moffat CR 27/NFSR 110, continue for approximately 22 miles. Park at the trailhead for NFST 1144. The project area begins 100 meters N
