The Saguache Ranger District is proposing to salvage up to 1101 acres of dead and dying Engelmann spruce trees northwest of Saguache, Colorado. Approximately six million board feet of Engelmann spruce may be salvaged.

Location

The project area is located 18 miles northwest of Saguache, Colorado, Saguache County. The project analysis area encompasses 3,996 acres.
