The proposed action would include closing the Mix Lake Campground to public use starting September 2017 and completing a timber salvage project to remove hazard trees within the campground boundary.

Location

Mix Lake Campground is located in Conejos County in the upper Conejos Canyon. It is located approximately 45 miles west of Antonito Colorado, via paved highway 17 for 22 miles.
