Wood River Campground Bank Stabilization

Shoshone National Forest Park, Wyoming Greybull Ranger District

The project will stabilize the left bank of the Wood River at the Wood River Campground using toe-wood structures, reshaping the channel, and reestablishing the bankfull overflow channel on the right bank. The left bank is experiencing lateral scour.

Location

Wood River Campground off NFSR 200 on the Greybull Ranger District. Less than one mile west of Shoshone forest boundary and roughly 21 miles southwest of Meeteetse, WY.
