Project intends to treat aspen stands within the Gooseberry Creek drainage by mechanically thinning and scattering conifers encroaching into aspen stands to create a favorable fuel bed for follow-up broadcast burn treatment.

The project is located 25 miles SSW of Meeteetse, WY in the Gooseberry and Middle Fork Gooseberry Creek drainages Township 45N Range 102W.
