The project would construct a 45'x44'x21' structure at the Hanging Lake Rest Area in Glenwood Canyon to provide shelter to visitors at the popular recreation area.

Location

The proposed weather shelter is located in Glenwood Canyon at the Hanging Lake Rest Area, I-70 Exit 125, Garfield County. The site is adjacent to the Hanging Lake Area restroom facility.
