Shooting Range Prescribed Burn

White River National Forest Summit, Colorado East Zone/Dillon Ranger District

The Forest Service is proposing to use prescribed fire (broadcast burn) on approximately 44 acres near the Summit County Public Shooting Range for the purpose of the reducing fuel quantities to prevent potential future wildfire.

Location

The project is located in Section 15, Township 5 South, Range 77 West; east of the Summit County Public Shooting Range. Access is County Road 66, Keystone CO.
