Carson National Forest Taos, New Mexico Camino Real Ranger District

Hand planting ponderosa pine and Douglas-fir seedlings within portions of the 2011 Osha wildfire area. Trees will be planted in 255 acres of high and moderate burn severity to establish native tree species where no or few trees survived the fire.

Approximately 4 miles east of Penasco, New Mexico on the north side of State Highway 518
