Cabresto Dam is located approximately 7 miles NE of Questa NM, adjacent to Latir Wilderness. The condition of existing earthen dam requires reconstruction to address safety needs. · Taos, New Mexico

Propose reconstruction of Cabresto Dam. Dam would meet safety & operational standards of State of NM. Proposal includes breaching existing dam & constructing new dam about 160 feet downstream of existing dam.
