The forest is proposing a fuels reduction project to clean up the blowdown of trees that resulted from a windstorm in December 2021. Project objectives are wildfire mitigation, forest health, and firefighter safety.

Location

Proposed treatment units are around the Town of Red River on the Questa Ranger District, as well as areas of the Camino Real Ranger District.
