The purpose of the Horsethief Mesa Recreation Access project is to provide public recreation access to a comprehensive network of existing and planned routes and recreation facilities on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands.

Location

The project is located on Horsethief Mesa, west of Highway 522, south of the San Cristobal communities and north of the Arroyo Hondo Community. The project is located within the Rio Grande Watershed.
