North Boundary Trail Reroute

Carson National Forest Taos, New Mexico Camino Real Ranger District

The Carson NF would construct this reroute with volunteers using hand tools to remove a shallow layer of soil (24" wide) to provide the trail tread, brush back encroaching vegetation and obliterate the abandoned trail segment.

Location

North of HWY 64 East, northwest of Las Petacas campground, accessed by tye Cortado trailhead on HWY 64 East.
