Sipapu Ski & Summer Resort 2015 Trail Improvement Projects

Carson National Forest Taos, New Mexico Camino Real Ranger District

A 1,700-foot new trail is proposed, with a width varying between 50 and 200 feet. Widening of existing trails is also proposed, as well as installation of 3,000 feet of snowmaking infrastructure. Total ground disturbance would not exceed 4.9 acres.

Location

All activities would occur within the Special Use Permit boundary of Sipapu Ski & Summer Resort. The new trail and snowmaking infrastructure would extend from Howdy Trail to Lower Bambi Trail.
