North Forest Grassland Restoration Project

Coconino National Forest Coconino, Arizona Flagstaff Ranger District

The Flagstaff Ranger District is proposing to reduce pinyon and juniper encroachment on grasslands within the northern boundaries of the Forest. Treatments would focus on thinning the encroaching trees followed by broadcast burns.

Location

This project is located in the northwest corner of the Coconino National Forest with the Forest Boundary making up the northern and eastern project boundary.
