The Grassland Restoration project identifies a suite of treatment types that can be used to kill woody trees/shrubs and replace invasive grasses with native grasses and forbs.

Construction of a pasture fence to separate Cowboy and Little Horse pastures on the Casner Kelly Allotment

Installation of high-speed/capacity fiber optic backbone to interconnect Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) devices within the existing Interstate 40 right-of-way. Includes trenching, conduit and pull box installation, and vegetation trimming.

Approximately 4 miles (2 miles on the east side and 2 miles on the west side) of new fence would be constructed no closer to 50 feet and no further than 100 feet from Walnut Canyon Road to discourage unauthorized motor vehicle use.

Proposal includes the establishment of fuel breaks along roads and boundaries adjacent to private land to facilitate prescribed burning of the Long Valley Experimental Forest.

Would include authorization for the Arizona Game and Fish Department to conduct rotenone treatments in Knoll Lake and isolated pools in ~0.5 miles of East Leonard Canyon to remove nonnative Green Sunfish and protect Little Colorado Spinedace

The Forest Service proposes to authorize Prescott College to conduct academic field courses year-round across forests in Arizona including adventure education, biology, human ecology, natural history, physical geography, & field ecology.

This proposal would allow the AZGFD to repair three existing wildlife waters approved in 1993, as well as develop two new wildlife waters on the Inner Basin Waterline. Each water location would also have a 2500-gal storage tank added to the design.

Salt River Project has proposed installation of instrumentation to collect snow measurement data. The location is at an existing snowtography site managed by NRCS across Lake Mary Road from the Happy Jack Station.

UNS is requesting permission to install a natural gas spur line to provide gas from their mainline running through Coconino NF to private property. The 3/4 inch pipeline would be buried 3.5ft deep and cross 33ft of Coconino NF lands.

Proposal to expand, maintain, and haul commercial vehicles on two Forest Service roads (1.9 miles of FR 417 and 2.6 miles of FR 9003) in connection with the CO Bar Solar Project on adjacent state and private lands

This project is designed to reduce improve forest and watershed health in the Turkey Butte and Barney Pasture area. Project activities would include thinning of small and medium diameter trees and prescribed burning.

This proposal is being brought forward to address non-motorized recreation with regards to trails, special uses and facilities management in the Mt. Elden-Dry Lake Hills (MEDL) area.

The Schultz Fire Reforestation and Site Preparation project includes hand planting of approximately 4,500 acres of conifer seedlings and jackstrawing of approximately 350 acres to protect aspen regeneration within the Schultz Fire boundary.

Restoration of Wickiup Creek is needed to re-establish a surface flow channel through excavation of accumulated sediment and the addition of grade controls to maintain a stable, alluvial channel through the reach of Wickiup draw.

The Windmill West Allotment permit holder is to relocate a water trough to a new location off FR 9451A, as the damaged trough is not operable. An essential water source for livestock, the trough will be moved .28 miles to the west.

Acquisition of approximately 60 acres of private land at the convergence of the Verde River and Beaver Creek.

A new road to connect Cornville Road to State Route 260

AZGFD proposes to rebuild four wildlife water catchments to current AZGFD guidelines of R-panel apron over four polyethylene storage tanks totaling 10,000 gallons, and a new polyethylene walk in style trough will replace each existing drinker.

Removal of logs and other debris behind a culvert on Forest Road 96. There is concern that a storm event will result in culvert blockage and the storm water will wash out the road.

Proposal would create a short stop program to issue special-use permits for use on the Coconino National Forest. Initial permitted locations include: Red Rock Ranger District Visitor Center, Bell Rock Vista, and Oak Creek Vista.

Slide Rock State Park proposes to install a 6-foot tall, chain-link fence for approximately 2,550 feet adjacent to the park along the west side of State Route 89A to protect riparian resources and improve human safety.

Use of in-stream rock structures to storm proof drainages in a narrow corridor between the Museum Fire and private lands.

City of Flagstaff is proposing to obtain a permit to construct a portion of the Flagstaff Urban Trail System 10 foot wide aggregate trail with 2 foot native shoulders to complete section of the trail system. Drainage work on Highway Stock tank.

Analysis of motorized use on Soldier Pass Road and how to bring it into compliance with Forest Plan direction for social encounter levels. Current use has exceeded capacity.

In order to provide safer access to the Northern Arizona Shooting Range, the Arizona Game & Fish Department is requesting the ability to improve Forest Service Road 128A.

The Flagstaff Ranger District is proposing to reduce pinyon and juniper encroachment on grasslands within the northern boundaries of the Forest. Treatments would focus on thinning the encroaching trees followed by broadcast burns.

Closure of non-system roads in the area including 1-17 to the West, Lake Mary Road to the North and East, Coconino 90 and FR240 to the South. Closure activities will include blocking roads with debris, revegetation, and obliteration with equipment.

Construction of approx. 30-miles of motorized single track trail that includes the establishment of a parking area and obliteration of adjacent non-system routes. Previously named Cornville Motorized Single Track Trail

Issuance of outfitter/guide permits for hiking and trailhead transportation on the Red Rock Ranger District.

FS must decide whether to allow APS to include using herbicides as a method to manage vegetation on existing APS transmission ROW within five National Forests in Arizona.

Installation of soil moisture sensing devices including placement of wireless and corded sensors at various depths in the ground. Ten to eleven T posts 1.2 to 1.5 meters tall with small solar panels, batteries and containment box would be installed.

The Flagstaff Ranger District and its partners are proposing to realign segments of two trails within the Dry Lake Hills Trail system:Heart Trail and Little Elden Trail. Realignment would been done using hand tools.

To remove unclear or conflicting standards and guidelines in the Forest Plan which suggest the Forest should reach a "No Effect" determination for effects to cultural resources under the National Historic Preservation Act.

Proposal to construct a road from SR179 to private property across Oak Creek from Poco Diablo and Chavez Crossing Group Campground in Sedona. Proposal is the result of litigation requiring the Forest Service to provide an easement.
