Pinaleno Ecosystem Restoration Project

Coronado National Forest Graham, Arizona Safford Ranger District

Forest proposes to begin restoration of a mixed-conifer forest to historic conditions. This will reduce fire behavior (crown fire and fireline intensity) and protect and promote native wildlife habitat.

Location

Pinaleno Mountains north of Stockton Pass (Highway 266) and south of Tripp-Taylor Canyons.
