This project proposes to replace the existing Gibb Wash Bridge and realign approximately 600 feet of NFSR 38, split nearly equally on either side of the bridge, to improve motorist safety, bridge durability, and reduce maintenance costs.
Location
The Gibb Wash Bridge is located approximately halfway between Peppersauce Campground and Summerhaven on the Control Road (National Forest System Road 38) on the backside of Mount Lemmon.
