To study the diversity and distribution of macrofungi in diverse biomes, as they relate to fire, with collections of mushroom fruit bodies, soil, plant tissue, and air spora.

Location

4 locations on Nogales Ranger District. Coniferous forest recently burned, oak forest unburned. Two sites within Mount Wrightson Wilderness, coniferous forest recently burned and one site unburned.
